During these hard economic times, instead of sending out work shirts to the cleaners, I will be washing and ironing them myself. Any tricks I should know?
“Biff, how about the Duane Reade on Court (and Montague?), across from Borough Hall.”
Thanks CarrollGardened. I go there on occasion, but it’s not as close to home. I also go to the Rite Aid at Montague and Clinton. It’s a bit better. One of the cashier’s there is actually downright friendly. Like I said, I think I must enjoy the frustration, on some level. Maybe it’s the thought that one day I’ll have an incident free shopping experince.
Anyway, a big and belated welcome to you and herkimermaid!
In the words of Margo Channing (Bette Davis): Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy night!
Chiller – I didn’t think I’d been around long enough to have been part of the welcome wagon but I join you in your hospitality greetings & hope you feel better soon, too.

Textpert, Oh crap, bxgrl promised you a tiara didn’t she. Damn her!
Ok, ok, I’ll get right on that and send out the tiara’s as well. Sigh.

“”did anybody ever actually meet the What, in person?”
Contrary to rumors that he and I had lunch at La Grenouille recently, no. But I would love to!”
I thought the What was a girl.
Cobblehiller, I did get the ‘welcome package’, but it didn’t include a tiara. Even though I’m not a ‘f word’ I thought I’d still get a tiara!
Rob, quick, borrow 11217’s blonde wig and help CH in the welcoming committee duties.
Snappy, you’ve left me alone here?
Here I am trying to be a one woman welcoming committee and Customer Service Center, and with a cold no less!
I wanna talk to my Union Rep! ; )
