  1. Chicken–had a good time in London but was mostly work. The May Fair should be called the Meh Fair on account of its cheesy attempts to be high class while actually being over priced and inefficient. The rock stars who were part of my entourage were most displeased with the room service fare and the bar (which only served one obscure brand of czech beer that coincidentally—not–was owned by the corporate group that owns the hotel). The shows at Brixton Academy were great, and my shoot was awesome. Then got to see DMB open for Bruce Springsteen at Hyde Park. The Employer (as I like to call him) opened with “London Calling.” Had a nice lunch with a friend in Green Park. Was shocked by how little one can purchase (besides illicit goods and services) even in the most prime areas after mid night. My random thoughts on London…
