  1. “A cheaper suit that fits you well will look a million times better than an expensive one that doesn’t.”

ie those stupid ass Thom Browne suits that look like they were shrunk in the drier.

  2. Those “tailored suits” are outsourced to the Far East – good bespoke will start from £2000.

I don’t wear suits enough to justify a bespoke wardrobe but I do wear made-to-measure (and less than those prices!). A cheaper suit that fits you well will look a million times better than an expensive one that doesn’t.

  3. chicken – ok so if you wanted to maintain that weight, you should consume 2500 calories a day. HOWEVER, you are working out so you need more protein and probably some healthy fats like avocados, nuts, salmo etc.

You should probably aim to eat about 2800 calories a day if you want to put on muscle mass, but focus on foods that repair the muscles after a workout – yes lean protein, but also things like cherries have creatine in them that help restore muscles after a workout.

You should probably fit in a few more snacks per day to keep and eat lots of fiber!
Hopefully you like things like peanut butter, yogurt and guacamole as those would be excellent sources of good fats and protein

  4. “Chicken – I was sick this past winter & dropped 18 lbs. Got it back w/ massive infusions of chocolate donated by well-wishers. Only downside is weaning off the regimen when you’ve got to ideal weight. (So I’ve cut out healthful nutrition so I can continue.)

    Sounds like a fun diet!

“chicken, you sound like you have super high metabolism. beside those protein drinks & stuff, you probably need to eat constantly – ie 6-7 small meals through the day.

I think I do have a v high metabolism. I always eat until I’m full but never seem to add any weight. Sounds like these protein drinks are the way forward!
