DIBS, think both NYS and NJ state top rates (which I’m assuming you’re at) is ~9% (think NJ is fractionally higher). So diff is the NYC 4% tax. assuming you buy 1 of those premium grand houses, you’re looking at ~$14-15k ppty (more than covered by the NYC tax savings; am assuming you in AMT status now). Think the 1st 3 houses g10 posted are probably 6.5-7.5k ppty tax
THL – haha – my family uses Stunad as a drunk and gavone meaning clown
dialects!
DIBS – not sure what the land taxes out in JC are – I was a renter out there 6 years ago, – but isn’t that last one gorgeous? and in a PRIME part!!
M4l- I noticed like BK, JC went thre route with overdevelopment in the condo arena..are they all just sitting empty now? I really like the housing stock in JC just don’t think my lifer Park Slope husband will entertain the thought of moving there 🙁
g10, see if you can see anything around van vorst park. other than those condo’s next to the water, those houses next to van vorst park is the most expensive (& likely the most grand ones too)

Dave it’s not just Trulia. None of the Jersey brokers seem to use them, it’s awful.
Around Van Vorst Park would be my pick. They are pricey though.
m4l – try your best to come – we can run to a bodega and make our own “beer floats”
Without it. The “h” is the phonetic spelling
gemini…that last one was real estate porn!!!! Any idea what the taxes are??
Yes, truvia site sucks…no floorplans.
m4l, what are the NJ state taxes and what’s the rate “all in” for someone who would work in Manhattan?????
