DH, snap out of it (on that COTD thread). resist the brainwashing. you dont HAVE to own. RENTing is not evil. to up the monthly cash outflow from $1k to $2k just to OWN is not good. Now if you’re saying the $1k increase is for better pad, location, etc. then it’s diff story. But don’t accept a big increase in outflow just to OWN.
be greedy. look to buy a 1 bdrm for studio prices. take advantage of this terrible econ – go buy something good for cheap

omg i forgot to tell everyone about my awesome finds at stoop sales this weekend.! remember how i was complaining about how i needed a cheap massage last week? well i found a massaging back cushion that plugs in the wall. it’s not as hard as id like, but i guess it’s better than nothing. and next to that massage cushion?! a hello kitty backpack (non knockoff) in perfect condition. 5 dollars for both items!!!
