Good point infinitejester. On the all time ridiculous commercial lists should be The Olive Garden commercial where the guy’s cousin comes over from Sicily and they bring him to The Olive Garden. I couldn’t believe that the marketing department really pushed that through thinking it was a good idea. I bet the food they get in Sicilian prisons is better than Olive Garden.
What about bagels in Brooklyn?
Seems Manhattan has the bagel market on lock (H&H, Essa-a-Bagel, etc)

Is it me or is there really no good Indian food in BK? Yes, I know about Jackson Hts – I was born there, but Brooklyn just doesn’t have any good spots.
Ah, no, I hadn’t seen the thread – but I just peeked. I ran into Louie the day after his mother died. She had been pretty sick for awhile. I’ve seen Mario to talk to on the street. He’s 83 (?), I think, it might be time for him to relax a little. He told me his wife did everything for him. He had to learn how to iron his shirts, and shop, etc.
Although, I’ll miss HIS pizza, I don’t like the other guys crust as much as Mario’s – not thin [and almost burned!] enough.
