“Marble Hill is attached to the mainland? Huh? I guess I too need to hit the geography books. ”
it is now technically part of the bronx, but was originally attached to manhattan – but back in the day they rerouted the harlem river (?) so it cut marble hill away from manhattan – today the people in marble hill, while technically part of the bronx, still have New York, NY addresses.
And I did not know that Manhattan had an attachment to the mainland U.S. Marble Hill is attached to the mainland? Huh? I guess I too need to hit the geography books.
Are you not a lover of the english language Rob? Would you deny, or denigrate, others who wish to employ a full arsenal to articulate their arguments? To stifle and stymie the creative juices of those aspiring to the upper echelons of self-expression? For shame on you beanbag-boy, for shame…
Dave, you just made me spit out coffee with your cast off last sentence at 9:38.
Me? I hate, hate, hate when people use the word “articulate” to say that someone “said”. I have to think, because there are many more where that came from.
