To ask a 40 year old ‘How’s your mom?’ sounds like talking to a 4 year old.
Same when a 40 year old says my dad this or that. Sounds like a child talking.
Even newpapers seem to have dropped the words mother and father.

Johnny, here’s one reply to your query. “Myriad responses”. You wouldn’t say “Ten of answers”.
Haha Rob – there’s alot more people then you think that haven’t realized Brooklyn/Queens are part of Long Island.
Also, I’m going to go out on a limb and say Nassau County is more “cityish” then Staten Island – which is basically an extension of Jerz.
