One one the reason for all the “Asshat Love” is because you are going to bear all the tax increases! Wall Street is on Life Support, where is the “Revenue” coming from???

THL 3.5 sales tax is only in the “urban enterprise zones” areas of new jersey. otherwise i think it’s 6 percent. jersey city, and parts of north bergen, union city, west new york nj are all in the urban enterprise zones. unless that has changed and it really is just 3.5 now
Holy Moses, I just looked at some homes online and they’re averaging about 6-9K in ppty taxes.
New Jersey’s tax system is backwards. They give you really low sales tax and put the onus on the homeowners to make up the difference. Stupid.
They have better schools!
Guess what dumbasses! Taxes are going up in New York City because our main economic engine (Wall Street) is broken. Once Mayor Bloomturd gets reelected he’s going to jack it up.
I’d love to drive around where the RHWONJ live. Talk about houses on steriods! Theresa’s new home in progress totally dwarfs many museums in smaller cities.
M4L, they aren’t willing to go outside of Westfield or Mountainside. It’s unfortunate cause they’ll have to suck up the price and taxes. Everytime I walk through Westfield I just gawk. So many ‘regular’ homes were recently torn down after being sold to developers and mcmansions put up in their places, despite some being on smaller lot sizes. It’s insane over their.
