etson, you would love it! I feel in love with Newport when I went there a couple of years ago. Definitely see the mansions. and take the water taxi across the harbor (its $3 bucks as opposed to paying 15 for some tour boat seeing exactly the same thing).
My mom gets here tomorrow for a little over a week. We are going to Newport, RI for the weekend. First time there. As recommended by Biff, DIBS and BRG on this very thread a couple of weeks ago – thanks guys.
OMG, I want to get sooo bitchy about that Ice Cream Jingle thread. Are people real? Complaining about that? Obviously they didn’t grow up in Brooklyn. That jingle is the symbol of summer. It’s music to kids ears. Get over it people, and get some ice cream.
