you guys are blowing my head up. keep typing… the gang last night are really good people. Everyone that showed up I was very impressed with and I truly enjoyed talking to each one of you guys.
Benson: I first learned the term “Guido” from my Brooklyn-born and -raised colleagues, several of whom are Italian. Of course it’s used here, but maybe it’s a newfangled term of 90s origin? I certainly never heard it growing up in San Diego. Btw is “cugine” the root of the derogatory “gini”?
Benson, coming from Chicago and Pittsburgh, I always say ‘pop’. When I first moved to NYC I had a hard time trying to make the switch. It still comes out now and then!

Let’s go somewhere they have sangria and all share a few pitchers.

“Using the term “Guidos” is NYC is like calling soda “pop”,another non-existent term here.”
We say “pop” where I’m from. If I say soda when I go back, people think it’s bizarre.
“Pop” is very midwestern. Its “soda’ here on the east coast…whether its cola, orange, grape or whatever. When in Rome….
“I’m thirding the comments on Amzi and I’m straight!!!!”
I’m also a member of team hetero (even though Rob totally thinks I’m gay) and i’m comfortable with saying Amzi is a handsome fella.
JB, any HOT single lady friends for Kens and DH? Now that you’ve met them (& 4give DH on that alcohol induced knock-off comment).
Biff is dreamy, huh? guess I was pretty close when I said he’s a good looking dude around 6′ 3″
CH, think OLAY is looking for you to do anti-aging cream commercials
By the way, I’m noting all of the suggestions here for future gatherings (neighbourhoods, venues, etc.) so keep ’em coming.
Kens, weren’t you beside Rob and dirty hipster most of the time?
