Fort Greene
We noticed that A Bistro has opened their second Fort Greene location on Dekalb. It seems it has been open for a little while now….have any readers tried it out? Also Smashburger is open at the ground-floor retail space of 80 Dekalb. Fort Greene Patch says there are “a slate of borough-specific offerings like the ‘Brooklyn’ — a heart-stopping combo of beef and pastrami on a pretzel bun.”

Brooklyn Heights
Vineapple, which we toured this May, is now open. Brooklyn Heights Blog took a video tour and gives the place the thumbs up!

Park Slope
Here’s Park Slope got a website redesign as well, and has been covering lots of commercial action in the Slope. Cobble Grill II is open on 6th and 14th; the interior is described as “rather sad.” Closed for business: Chickadee Chick, Mango Remixed and Wndrlnd. Now open or coming soon: Avon Cosmetics, Mini Hair Village Spa, and SweetWolf’s, which is accepting all menu suggestions on its Facebook page.

They say: “Called Cafe de La Esquina at Wythe Diner (rolls off the tongue!), the new outpost will open mid-summer and will feature a taqueria, a cafe, a back dining room, and an outdoor garden. The cafe will take up the front portion of the restaurant, which Relish fans will recall features a long bar with stools and booth seating along the windows.” Finally, New York Shitty tells of a sandwich shop opening in June at 685 Manhattan Avenue.
