My car stereo plays music off my iPod… it was $110, installed.
Rob – totally agree about all of your comments. $1650 s a ridiculous price tag for a 1-bedroom out in bushwick. And $2500-3000 in “prime” Billyburg is fucking retarded. But apparently the market has spoken and douchebags continue to be willing to pay these amounts.
And the Stuy Town “complex” — ridiculous. I see the ads on the subway and they are absurd. 1-bedrooms are around $3000 and studios are not that much less. The prices skyrocketed in the last few yeas. Stupid.
ipod doc? haha i had a friend that bragged about the $500 they spent to install a new car stereo just to get one. and people wonder why more than half the country is broke. fools and their money…

$1,650 for a brand new 1 bedroom off Montrose isn’t bad
yes, it is. there is no reason in the world that a 1 bedroom should be that high., especially in a f*cking ghetto
*rob*
i barfed when i read that ny times article about the 30 year old who was paying 1500 a month to live a living room in stuy town (aka the yuppie projects).

$1,650 for a brand new 1 bedroom off Montrose isn’t bad (considering the same space three stops closer on the L would be $2,500 – $3,000)
But yeah, he had basically the same reaction I did when I looked at the Downtown Brooklyn buildings: a big “meh”
Seriously DIBS — a $25 vinyl decals. Fark.
A few years back, I had a utility van and a pick-up truck both covered in large vinyl logos, various text, and striping for $500.
An what about this?

That vinyl decal is $40. Cut with the same magical computerized cutter that the MTA has. They’re saying that two 8-inch circles with a letter in it would be harder and more expensive than this huge owl?
tybur6, I didn’t read that far…$1,650 in BUSHWICK for 600 SQUARE FEET?????
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ROTFLMMFAO
