  1. dieselfuel222 – hopefully your decisions will one day be judged by total strangers.

meanwhile, a new apt is desirable to MOST people. $1600 for a brand new apt is steal when you have quick access to the L train. The L for those of you have never looked at the subway map, connects to every just about every train. it’s what many people would refer to as convenient.

for this crowd east WB isn’t what they want, but you have to have your head in the frickin sand to not know that young singles spend a great deal of time going out in WB and Bushwick. WB is the place for young musicians of course (rehearsal spaces, equipment, other musicians, and venues). and i’ll go out on a limb and say that a music teacher might be in to music.

jeez- you guys are too much. i’d never in a trillion years spend 2 million+ on a brownstone in PS, but I’m not shocked that other people might.

HEY – new subject – great picture – the colors are crazy. has a real painterly quality.

  2. “the only issue is 1. whether you WANT to live in that house in that neighborhood 2. How much comparable housing (if it exists) would be 3. If you can afford it ”

same for the guy who opted to rent for $1,650 in bushwick.

  3. “if you buy a 900K house in the ghetto and love it and sell in 5yrs for 1.4M – you are alot smarter then the genius who bought a house they didnt love for less in a “better neighborhood” and sold it at a loss.”

    That’s a big “if”.

  4. Man you guys must have had a nice weekend!!???

I really dont know the rental market in Bushwick or Stuy Town that well (doubt you guys do either) but is it really intelligent to call people “douches” for renting apartments at the market rate – I mean if its the market rate then ITS THE MARKET RATE. If you want to live somewhere you pay what it costs….
but since you guys are all such judgemental fucks – please list all your purchases including clothes, restuarants, food, electronics (I know some of you dicks must pay the 2x Apple Tax), cars, hotels/vacations etc…so we can all evaluate what a bunch of “douches” you are.

Finally when talking about buying it frankly doesnt matter if you pay 900K to live in a ghetto or 9M to live there — the only issue is 1. whether you WANT to live in that house in that neighborhood 2. How much comparable housing (if it exists) would be 3. If you can afford it and 4. what you expect it to be worth if and when you sell – if you buy a 900K house in the ghetto and love it and sell in 5yrs for 1.4M – you are alot smarter then the genius who bought a house they didnt love for less in a “better neighborhood” and sold it at a loss.

  5. quote:
It makes a LITTLE more sense than people buying 900k run down townhouses in the ghetto.

well yeah totally agree with you on that one. over a million dollars to live in a house in bed-f*cking-stuy!? get the f*ck outta here

    *rob*

  6. “yes, it is. there is no reason in the world that a 1 bedroom should be that high., especially in a f*cking ghetto”

It makes a LITTLE more sense than people buying 900k run down townhouses in the ghetto.
