Sounds to us like an offer in the high $600’s would get this done. It’s a charming house. Any takers?

Dibs, it’s truly an English basement, which means the original kitchen might have been there, for the servant to toil all day. If I remember correctly, the ceiling height is probably legal. That said it is a dark mess, but may be a good place for a media room.
Even more fascinating is the alley! How many of these are in Brooklyn? I know that they are somewhat more common in Queens (although far from ubiquitous).
How about if we all just died an allowed the earth to use our rotting corpses as fertilizer?
Kelly, there’s a secret back alley running through the middle of the block. That bit is really lovely.
besides low-impact..lot less stressful.
“How green is that?”
Oh, man.
Worse, the in-laws *fly* to New York to visit? Maybe for greenness’ sake I should tell them to stay home, farm out the kids for cheap labor, and stay home. That would be, like, totally low-impact.
Oooh, empty closet to stare out for relaxation. I like that! Make a good article in Real Simple. Maly, you can come over to our place to stare. We still have a few empty ones — we have to clean them out before we can use them, so it’s taking a while. But maybe I’ll just leave one empty. I like this idea.
Those windows are certainly high enough for it to be counted as legal space.
It would be great entertainment space for shillstoner
