  1. dibs, i learned in MA. Here is a story for you: Father/daughter 6 month license suspensions after father “aided and abetted” a minor (me) to drive twice legal limit (“driving to endanger”) on learners permit. He used that one with mom as an excuse to retire early – well, guess I can’t drive to work anymore! Poor mom had to come down to police station to post bail for both of us. Plus the car we were joy riding got impounded and it wasn’t even his. Meanwhile, they’re celebrating their 43th anniversary on Monday and I continue terrorize the streets of Bay Ridge with my reckless driving.

  2. “If you two lived in a better neighborhood, the sidewalks wouldn’t be crowded with ghetto ATNs and vendors selling crap”

ghetto atms? have you walked on nostrand ave or fulton st?

    oh right – probably not.

  3. “These people come here after herding goats all their lives and just start driving”

Wow Dave, that is one of the most racist things I have heard on this blog in quite some time. Mr B you should remove offensive and racist crap like that, and I’d even argue suspending DIBS for some time.

And anyway, cabs are one issue but I feel it is the general selfishness of modern American society that leads to this- when I almost get run over it’s by an Escalade with one person in it, blasting some awful music, blowing through a Red light at 50mph….

Goat herding. You are such a biggot.

  4. I hate walking down Bedford. What they really need to do is send out a PSA the congregating in the middle of the sidewalk with your rag tag homeless looking beardo friends impedes pedestrian traffic. They should stand in the middle of the road or something.

  5. Re: Williamsburg ATM article

can’t say i’ve ever really noticed the ATMs on Bedford Ave being that far enough away from the buildings to really impede people from walking. if they really want to do something to make Bedford easier to walk on – do something about all the street vendors peddling their crap. the only one i’ve ever seen get any business is the guy on the corner of N6th who sells old records.
