115-Montague-Street-2

A new ice cream shop is coming to 115 Montague Street, almost directly across from the country’s first Haagen Dazs. Emack & Bolio’s is a rock-n-roll themed chain originating in Boston.

They’ve taken the space that was vacated by Connecticut Muffin earlier this year after the rent got too d*mn high. Curious peepers can see purple-painted columns above the brown paper. Sources say the store should open in a couple of weeks.

  1. So excited about Emack’ & Bolio’s opening. I always stopped into their upper east side location before I moved to Bkkyn & really missed their ice cream…Without a doubt, their’s is the absolute BEST & the people who work there are always fun.

  2. What news! Can’t wait to grab a scoop! Been a longtime Emack and Bolio’s lover. As unfortunate as it is, I have to agree with the above post. Looking forward to a more enjoyable ice cream shop. ✌️

  3. That Haagen Dazs is THE WORST. It really should be the best — it’s their first retail location. But the owner is awful and SO CHEAP. So expensive and they only give a tiny scoop. There is nothing fun about this place. Hopefully this new shop will be welcoming and all-around more attractive.
