We wondered if the space at 117 Court was cursed but even this is hard to believe: As BHB reported last night, Danny’s on Court, the cafe that replaced the short lived F. Martinella, appears to be closed after just two weeks! A tipster pointed they were closed over the holiday weekend, and sure enough, there is a sign up promoting this now debatable ‘prime retail space.’ Anyone know what’s up?

  1. You’re so right. Noodles and dumplings would make a fortune. Kid friendly, easy snack before or after a movie, high turnover. Something like Ollies on the upper west side comes to mind. Or better yet, Joe’s Shanghai. I’m dreaming of those soup dumplings now.

  2. For many years, Danny had a full restaurant (despite mediocre food). Location is perfect with the movie across the street. But he needs to have a high-volume limited menu — dumplings and noodles!!! P)lease — if anyone atually knows him!!!
