The charmingly old-fashioned Danish Christmas Fair will take place this month at the Danish Seamen’s Church and Plymouth Church in Brooklyn Heights. Try Danish treats such as open-faced sandwiches with shrimp and other delicacies, warm Danish puff pastries, hot dogs, beer and mulled wine. For sale in the Christmas Shop will be homemade gifts such as knitted baby clothes as well as traditional Christmas decorations and design items donated by Danish companies in New York City. All proceeds go to the Danish Seaman’s Church. Above, last year’s fair in Plymouth Church. The fair runs from 11 to 5 on Saturday, Nov. 17, and from 11 to 3 on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 102 Willow Street. The restaurant in Plymouth Church at 75 Hicks Street will be open Saturday only.
