Fjorder, it’s understandable. I’ve told off much bigger dudes when it involved my boy and I told them if they ever thought that this was the time and place for me to ever back the F off from a bigger dude starting sh*t, this aint it. most dads react more explosively protecting young child then even protecting wife. I might regret it afterwards but not when it’s happening.
Maybe someone should rip off this douchebag’s limbs. See how how likes it! Please stop defending this a**hole
Perhaps it’s a phobia of branches because they were used as a “switch” by his mother to whip him.
This person tore through the trees on Livingston St and Schermerhorn St as well last night.
i wonder what his thought process actually was since you are saying he was mentally ill. im always fascinated by people like that.
*rob*
Letitia James’s office is on it, but it’s difficult to address this kind of thing.
I saw this guy while exiting the Q train at 7th ave about 2-3 weeks ago. By the time I got there he had torn branches off trees on Carlton Ave and made a pile near the home of the guy who puts the signs in his window. I think he saw I was examining his handiwork and headed east on prospect place when I lost him. I only got a grainy mobile-phone photo from behind. This is a significant injury to a tree and can lead to the death of the tree as the open wound is where many diseases can take hold.
Um….read some info before shooting your mouths off.
The guy doing this is mentally ill. He was taken in and then was released again.
It’s a whole process to have him taken in again.
One time my boy was playing right in front of Amorina near a smallish tree while I chatted with a friend. All of a sudden some dude comes out of the restaurant hollering “is that your kid?” and I am like “uh, yes” and he starts going off about ripping the branch off the tree.
well, the branch was already hanging off the tree—so my son and I were not only shocked, but I was ready to rip this a**hole’s head off. So i ask my friend to keep an eye on my son, walk into Amorina and ask this d**khole if he say my boy rip the branch off (no) and who the f**k does he think he is talking to a stranger’s child like that. Man, I was livid. I walk out and in about two minutes him and his friend walk out and I am thinking “my bike chain is gonna come in handy, but in front of my kid???” and the dude’s friend apologizes to me! The offensive ogre just stood there with a foolish look on his face.
