11:35 or a character from a Michael J Fox movie. Which one is worse?
you guys is crazy.

Nowhere did I see anyone attacking you for being an owner until you said, “you’re late again with this month’s check”. Sounds like unnecessary chiding to me.
If you were my landlord, I’d leave the security deposit and bail – you sound like a pretentious, overly-sensitive blow hard.
Um, 11:18, perhaps you should go back and re-read the thread. It started with 9:37 saying, “Thank you all for making me feel good about being a renter!” I made a small joke and then got attacked.
I have nothing whatsoever against renters (or homeowners) nor do I have a “tude” (speaking of being childish) until they attack me and then I serve it right back at them. I’ve never said a negative word against renters in any post before. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

I agree whole-heartedly. It’s one thing if you store it there briefly, like a couple of hours, but if you’re going to keep it there for a few days, put it in your apartment or inside your own stoop.
I’m actually surprised that if it is there for a few days that it doesn’t get stolen or at least mauled.

Seriously, you have some issues and need to lose the tude. If you own your home and are happy about it, great! Congrats to you. If you rent and are happy, way to go! Everyone makes a decision one way or the other depending on their current needs, desires, situation, etc., but chastising people for making a decision different from yours is just childish.
I was sympathetic to the bike owner at first, but I’ve seen this bike stored at this location for several days now.
I do agree that if a bike is standing in front of your house for more than a couple of days, the bike owner is treating it like trash and the homeowner should consider it such. Cut the chain, take the bike for yourself or sell it.
I have two bikes, LOVE THEM, RIDE THEM EVERYWHERE and I would never want my bikes to be cut or stolen. However, by the same token, I’d never just store my bike in the middle of a street. That person has no respect for bikes and doesn’t deserve to own one.
