Love S Portland and walk down that street @ least once a week just for fun. The bikes don’t bother me @ all if anything I love it….more people should be biking in this city…
You could start dumping some of your garbage in the basket…they use your fence, you use their basket!
agreed that all you have to do is slash the tires and they’ll never park their bike there again.
Watch out w/ trees–on S. Oxford St., I’ve had 2 chained up bikes stolen from in front of my apartment, both times in broad daylight! Tree, fence or wherever, bring your bike inside!
Definitely pushing into the stroller lane and should therefore be moved.
chain your bike to my tree and see what happens
Hey biff, you don’t see the entire picture. First it’s a bike, then it’s a laundry/shopping cart, then a damned stroller! lol it’s like a quality of life issue. Stop it now before it spreads like a virus.
Someone keeps chaining their bike to my fence and leaving it there for several weeks at a time. That fence is definitely my property not theirs. I think they should stop.
4:16, maybe it is the concern for damage to the fencing, although I’m not sure if that’s the homeowner’s or the city’s and I still can’t imagine getting worked up over it.
I can’t think of any other reason why the homeowner would care. I love the bike – if having it in front of your place is your biggest worry; I would say you have a pretty nice life.
