Closing Bell: Have You Seen This Chicken?
According to a reader, this chicken went missing yesterday from a backyard on 6th Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets in Park Slope. Supposedly there is a $20 reward for the person who finds her.

So I heard from CGar last night that this post was here. What can I say? I’d like to thank my parents, without whom this would not have been possible; the director, Alfred HitchCOCK, who got my best work out of me; and, not least, you the viewers just for being there….

Any advance on $20? C’mon ladies, don’t be shy….
I have never laughed so hard as I have reading these posts. Some answers, no the chicken was not litter trained, no the chicken did not have any diseases – it was visiting from Pa. Chickens poop where they stand, this was a hen, Sophia Lor-hen is her name. She needs water and food in this weather to survive. As a female, she is a layer, and a mutt in the Ameracauna family…they lay blue “martha stewart” pretty colored eggs. The reward still stands and a dozen of her first eggs, hopefully she will make it through tonight.
Poor bird was hen-pecked so it flew the coop.
OMG, you people are a riot.
Anyway, if you see my sister, there’s twenty smackeroos in it for you.
Snappy, you’re getting an aardvark. Chickens are not only legal, they are DA BOMB in Brooklyn. Exhibit A in the house.
Lemur: It’s all about the tail! And, as an added bonus, they have opposable thumbs!
“a star-nosed mole”
I’m not going anywhere near that thing!!
Anyone wanna volunteer to get a star-nosed mole?
(warning…this is an ugly thing…quite scary looking in fact)

Hmmmm…a lemur? Not a bad choice, not bad! Cargar, can we count on you to get a White Faced Saki Monkey? I think we would make quite a head-turning trio with our respective pets on leashes. I’ll meet you two in Prospect Park tomorrow at noon 🙂
ctually they just showed on the news that some guy was on the subway hugging and rolling around the floor of the train with a chicken! no kidding…probably the same chicken, probably on you tube by now, and if the guy was homeless like they said on the news he probably ate the chicken or sold the chicken by now…check out channel 7 eyewitness news for the story…no clucking, uhm i mean no kidding…
