The Brooklyn Paper reported the following on it: “A reckless driver flew through an intersection and slammed into a police car and a parked car on Fifth Avenue early Tuesday morning. One witness said the car was doing at least 70 mph when it tore through the intersection of Sixth Street, smashing into an Impala before ricocheting into a police car that had paused in the middle of the street.” The paper said the condition of the person in the Impala was unknown.

Impala = unmarked police car. I don’t think regular people drive Impalas.
“So… Is getting hit by a car enough to get the police to actually write a traffic ticket? Or?”
I’m sure he’ll get a ticket for not wearing a helmet.
Wow, I couldn’t imagine doing anything over 25 mph on 5th…..
If nothing else, at least they didn’t have to call the police.

That’s a Dodge Charger. Looks like it held up pretty well if it was actually going 70 mph.
I’m sure it was all caused by the bike lane on 5th.

Oh Snap! No you didn’t, hipster.
Yeah, saw this wreck at lunch. What the what?!
Nah, those old fogies never venture down to 5th Ave. They still think it’s sketchy.
