sorry, folks should do their due diligence before investing in anything – especially a restaurant.
this happens all the time with restaurants/bars – owners bring in investors and break out the LLC into shares – and the investors get pissed when their 10k contribution doesn’t get them anything in return except a place to hang out and drink free beer and bragging rights about ‘owning a restaurant’
