Brooklyn Heights Condo for Sale -- 360 Furman Street

If you’re in the market for a multi-million-dollar condo, you could do a lot worse than this three-bedroom at 360 Furman Street, aka One Brooklyn Bridge Park. It offers a vista that’s hard to top, with massive banks of windows that look out on Brooklyn Bridge Park and the harbor.

It doesn’t hurt that it’s also got a 600-square-foot terrace with landscaping, an irrigation system, built-in furniture and that same priceless view.

The unit itself offers a large, high-ceilinged open-plan living room and kitchen, with a distinctive (and “thematically striking”) decorative wall made from wood shipping containers. The kitchen is very nicely done, with a large island.

The two smaller bedroom each have built-in beds — a day bed that converts into a full-sized bed in one case, twin beds in the other. Which is great if you’ve got a need for twin beds, less great otherwise. That same room has a loft space above it, called a “play space” in the listing, from Joan Goldberg of Brown Harris Stevens.

There are two full baths, a washer-dryer, decent closet space (though one bedroom lacks any), and some built-in shelving. It’s around 1600 square feet in total.

The building is laden with perks, including a ’round-the-clock doorman, a fitness center with a yoga studio, a game room with a pool table, a children’s play room, a music room with a piano, a video lounge and a virtual driving range.

The ask is a not-inconsiderable $2,500,000; maintenance and taxes will add another $1,900 a month. If you had that much cash lying around, would you go for this or a brownstone?

  1. Some of the post construction finishes are interesting, but I believe it’s only on the 4th or 5th floor (forgot which floor the indented terraces are on), so not only will you get the hum of the BQE, but you’ll also likely hear some park noise. Also- yeah… those big old buildings that are going up. Hopefully the current owner can cash out though. It’s not a bad place, just not worth 2.5….

  2. I have a closet like that in my (rental) apartment bedroom. It’s awful, makes positioning furniture in the room a nightmare. Can’t imagine who in their right mind would willing chose to build one out.
