Thaddeus Young Brooklyn One Brooklyn Bridge Park 360 Furman

Brooklyn Nets power forward Thaddeus Young purchased a swanky three-bedroom, three-floor condo in One Brooklyn Bridge Park this summer for $5,399,000, according to the New York Post.

The basketball star is doubtless appreciating the “amazing natural light” and “stunning park, city and water views” of his new digs — the latter perhaps best seen from his balcony made with wood reclaimed from the Coney Island Boardwalk. The renovated triplex sports tall ceilings, oodles of windows and even a fort-like loft bedroom accessed from a spiral staircase on the main level.

The building at 360 Furman Street is a former warehouse that was built in 1928 and converted into luxury condos in 2007, just before the financial crisis tanked sales. But the One Brooklyn Bridge Park bounced back, now boasting Brooklyn’s priciest condo listing — a $32,000,000 11,000-square-foot triplex.

Young is the first of his teammates to make the move across the East River.
