This Stuyvesant Heights duplex, in a brownstone at 834 Putnam Avenue, is spacious, attractive and looks to be newly renovated. It’s got a fine parlor floor with high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and some nice details, including carved mahogany, moldings, pocket doors and inlaid wood floors.

It’s listed as a three-bedroom, though it wouldn’t be too big a stretch to count four bedrooms, even if two are quite small, well suited to an office or a small kid’s room. One has a washer-dryer in its sole closet, so that’d be a good bet for an office space.

The modern kitchen is new, as are the two-and-a-half baths — two full baths upstairs, powder room on the parlor floor.

There’s a deck off the rear of the parlor floor, with steps down to the yard — neither is pictured. Odds are good the garden is shared with the downstairs occupant, though that’s not specified in the listing, from Corcoran’s Laura Denise Milkowski and Christina Prostano.
