The living room is quite lovely, with three large windows overlooking the avenue, wall and ceiling moldings, and that long, scrolled archway.

The master bedroom — which sits at the opposite end of the long, narrow apartment, at the end of a hallway long enough to double as a bowling lane — is rather nice as well, with decent square footage and light from three large windows that form a bay.

There’s a second bedroom of moderate size, and an additional, good-sized middle room that’d most obviously be a dining room, but could be an office or serve some other purpose. Like the other middle rooms, it has a window, but probably won’t be flooded with light.

The layout is a little odd. The sole bathroom is removed from the bedrooms, and the kitchen sits in the middle of the unit, closer to the bedrooms than the living room.

Speaking of the kitchen, it’s not pictured in the listing — from Douglas Elliman brokers Jerry Minksy, Mina Kim, Adam Zinberg, Emily Matles — so its appearance and condition are an open question. Same with the bathroom.

The layout quirks ought to be easy enough to live with given the pluses, and the rent is not astronomical, at $4,500 a month. We’re guessing it won’t last long — what’s your view?
