I’m am still very proud of our country for putting this man in office, and I’m proud of Obama for wanting the challenge of leading a country essentially in ruins at the time he was elected. But for him to be the norm…was Bush “the norm” for white people of our country? I certainly couldn’t relate to his lifestyle or attitudes. Our leaders must be bigger than “the norm” so we and our children have something to aspire to.
