I think there is bike riding on the sidewalk that is a nuisance and that isn’t. Slowly riding next to someone else seems like the latter and not that big a deal. Seems like y’all have your panties in a bunch about bikers.
I’m not to bothered by this guy getting a ticket. He should have been walking his bike. Now that we have established that the police can and will give tickets to adults riding bikes on the sidewalk, can they please do the same to delivery bikes? At least once a day a delivery bike nearly runs me over on the sidewalk near my office. I say all of this, by the way, as an avid cyclist who does not believe I need a bike lane to use a street.
Agreed bikes should stay OFF the sidewalk. Only sidewalk i will ride along ( for safetys sake) is ft hamilton pkwy along the cemetary.
