re: 10 Orient was listed for $1M
That was my point – I think the buyer must have gotten more than the house, because the house wasn’t priced that high to begin with. And it wasn’t selling as just a house, so something must have changed.
If property shark is showing two buildings, did the buyer buy both? That seems to be the only logical explanation.
10 Orient was listed for $1M

How did it sell for $1.47 in this market?????
“so its alright to sling racist slurs at a black person b/c they’re acting like a jerk.”
No, it’s not alright. It’s not right for anyone to use racial slurs for any reason. But 2:01 probably heard some of these not because he or she is white, but because he/she is a jerk, and the morons who yelled at him/her couldn’t think of anything else to say and picked the most obvious.
And the word is spelled “comedian.”
WHAT!!!
so its alright to sling racist slurs at a black person b/c they’re acting like a jerk.
i know a comidian who thinks so and no one likes him very much anymore.
“I love it when a black person says racist remarks to a white person its the white person who is the jerk.”
2:01 is a jerk, period, which was most likely quite clear to the people who verbally assaulted him. I’m sure it had little to do with race. As other (white) posters have noted, they’ve walked up and down Eastern Parkway without incident. Meanwhile, 2:01 has had “many racial remarks” tossed at him/her. Why? Probably has a lot to do with 2:01. It IS “jerky” for a black person to hurl insults at a white person just because of their race. But I’m willing to bet that isn’t the issue here.
Checked out the floorplan for Orient House on Corcoran’s website. The top floor of the duplex is a “loft” with one small window on the side (visible in the pic above) and a skylight.
Incidentally, props to Corcoran’s marketing department – they’ve already updated the listing (even though it’s only a sold property) to include a link to this post!!
the orient house does indeed look pretty good on the inside. nice place.
Good point 4:00, I am a blkman and homeowner in Crown Hts. and I hate racist remarks coming from anyone.
I love it when a black person says racist remarks to a white person its the white person who is the jerk.
