The most popular listings on Brownstoner this week include a spacious condo in Fort Greene, an Arts and Crafts standalone in Flatbush and a wood frame in Kensington.
Here’s a look at three of our featured listings from six months ago, located in Brooklyn Heights and Bed Stuy.
This fabulous prewar Brooklyn Heights co-op offers over 1,800 square feet of space, details and prime views out of three exposures, which take in the Manhattan skyline and the East River.
We featured Unit 2A at 35 Pierrepont Street as a Co-op of the Day back in March when it was listed at $1,800,000; that place was subsequently reduced to $1,685,000 and is now in contract. Now the same unit on the third floor of the prewar doorman building has hit the market with an asking price of $1,875,000. Other than being a floor higher, it’s not clear to us what makes this place worth $200,000 more, especially when the kitchen doesn’t look quite as nice. Maybe the layout of this place (kitchen and master bedroom are in different spots) works better for some reason. We shall see. It’s certainly a very desirable pad!
