We wrote up The Maynard, Crown Height’s subsidized co-ops at 1509 Bergen Street, when Corcoran began marketing the development eight months ago. Prices began at $164,500 for a one-bedroom in the 47-unit project. The Brooklyn Eagle ran an update on the development last week, noting that prices have just been reduced by 15 percent. Only 16 units are left and are now priced between $139,500 to $290,000. The Corcoran broker who is handling the sales also includes, Several lines of apartments are almost sold out, including the lower duplexes and the units at 118 Schenectady.

  1. ENY: Both the park and the recreation center are in the midts of a multiyear upgrade and renovation. I love what they did with the playground.

    Also, the site is well located equidistant between the IRT (3 and 4 trains) and the IND (A and C trains) at Utica for both. Commuting to work in Manhattan should be easy breezy.

  2. The building replaced a vacant lot n this site, looks very good up close, and is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Also, the athletic field across the street has new synthetic turf following a much-needed upgrade.
