Now officially renting on Bedford Avenue: Williamsburg Social, the two-building development that soft-launched in April. Williamsburg Social takes up the entire block on North 3rd Street between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street and includes two different buildings: 250 Bedford Avenue, with 28 units, and 129 North 3rd Street, with 44 units. Now the development boasts its very own website, which says “it’s time to live with youthful fascination in a community with interesting things to do.” All of the rental listings and floorplans are also live, with a studio asking $2,600 a month and a two-bedroom, two-bath asking $4,800 a month. (The studio, one-, and two-bedrooms are sized from 423 square feet to 1,126 square feet and priced from $2,600 to $6,995 a month.) The building has a total of 7,500 square feet of amenity space, including two outdoor landscaped courtyards, two roof decks, and a resident lounge. Did anyone attend the previous open houses?

  1. I tried to get in touch with them a few times in late May/early June, and never heard anything. I figured that meant they weren’t too desperate for renters.

As for $2,600 for a studio being steep, yeah, it is – but good luck finding anything decent in that part of Williamsburg for much less.
