Penthouse livin’ at the Novo! This three-bedroom rental at 343 4th Avenue in Park Slope is going to cost you. For $6,250 a month (recently reduced from $6,500), you’ll have 1,180 square feet of space, a wraparound terrace, and all the luxuries of this full service condo building. The interior isn’t anything to write home about, that’s for sure. But do you think this place’s proximity to 5th and its amenities at all justify the rent? This is the building that sold out at an average of $671 per square foot… so who knows.

  1. BoerumHill,
Golly gee, you are so perfect and all-knowing about all matters of real estate, it makes my pretty little head spin. Why don’t you send your resume to Mr. B and get yourself on the payroll? Oh I forgot, someone very hardworking already has that job. Why don’t you lay off for awhile and get a life?

  2. rooms are very small, forget a table and 4 chairs, that is not going to happen, couldnt figure out where that would go.

Windows open on 4th ave, car fumes and noise….no thank you.
who wants to sit on a balcony overlooking 4th ave?????

  3. 6250 is prime Slope brownstone duplex rent (talking 8th Ave to the park). I guess they paid 16x6500x12 = 1.248 mil and need their carrying costs serviced accordingly. Pass that shit!

  4. We saw one of these units when the Novo was in construction. The terrace is amazing; far larger than the apt itself. The interior is incredibly cramped. It would be impossible to fit a sofa and a dining table in the main living area. The kitchen photo is not the actual kitchen in these units. The “en suite” bath in the master is so tiny you literally have to lean back to close the door once you’re inside. You also can’t have more than one person in the bath at a time. It is minuscule.
