A building at 154 Adelphi Street in Fort Greene has been emptied out, gut renovated, and is now leasing and ready for move-ins. The units were open listed during construction, and now that the units are finished, aptsandlofts started leasing in the building Friday.

We’re not familiar with the building, but it looks architecturally distinguished. It looks 19th century, possibly even as old as the 1880s, which is unusual for apartment buildings. The units have decorative fireplaces and exposed brick as well as strip kitchens in the living spaces, modern bathrooms and baseboard heating.

We couldn’t find any floor plans, but the walk-up apartments sound large. The eight units listed range from 2.5-bedrooms to 3.5 bedrooms. The least expensive 2.5-bedroom unit is $3,134 a month; the most expensive 3.5-bedroom apartment is $3,923 a month. Click through to the jump to see the interiors.

  1. This building is managed by G-Way and for what it’s worth, 154 Adelphi St is not managed well. Currently tenants are sharing information about a variety of issues but the bottom line is that this building should be avoided, particularly given how expensive it is.
