  1. On the Vanderbilt house…the house looks like it needs work, but what makes the photos so depressing is that they are underexposed and not good angles to begin with. Open the curtains and let some light in! Agents, if you can’t take a photo to save your life, please hire a photographer! You’re not doing the seller any justice.

  2. Also, re: the Windsor Terrace listing. For some reason it annoys me that Park Slope brokers call every 19th-century woodframe house “farm houses” when most of the houses they are refering to obviously were never built or used as farm houses.

  3. I cannot believe they are asking over a million for the Windsor Terrace house! It looks like a nice renovation (though there are things I don’t like about it), but Prospect Ave is an utterly charmless block. It’s not close to the park or the subway. And it’s a single family. Good God…

  4. I like the Miggdah House. Its 2000sqft about 500 per floor. Its great for a single person or a couple. Is 2m for this size house high for BH.

I wonder what this house would be worth in PS or FG any thoughts?

  5. oh. my. god. that vanderbilt house is the saddest, most depressing thing i’ve seen in a long time. and for $1m bucks? they’ve got to be kidding. any smart broker would withhold the photos and cross their fingers. that place exposes the insanity of the nyc real estate market.
