I just clicked on a house featured on the marketplace. It showed a lovely woodwork detail. Another click and the woodwork detail is……revealed to be a piece of furniture! Not attached to the house! Cracking up.
Ruh-roh.
That Bed Stuy house was for sale a few months ago and featured here. Everyone thought it had gone into contract. Guess it didn’t.
“Hey, people have to visit the marketplace too.
That doesn’t comes for free. Anymore.”
exactly, Mr. B’s desire to make money is subverting the original purpose of this blog.
agreed with Chuck
are there no drool-worthy 2 million joints from Park Slope to list?
but then again I think lots of brokers suspend Open Houses right around Labor Day b/c they figure lots of people go away this week….

Is this the first time there’s only been 3 picks? What’s up?
the bed stuy house would get my attention if it cracks 800k.
Asking $779K when you can only get $2K in monthly rent? So after expenses of $7K, that is $17k annually for a cap rate of 2%? Honestly, I would have to think hard about paying as much as $300K for this place.
anyonelse think the Sunset Park House is a tad overpriced?
the outside looks good and some of the interior seems ok, but am sure you would have to do a lot of work and agreed with Z – get rid of the crap in the photos
lazy brokers!
