This is the slowest time of year for house sales thus RE listings. Unless a seller is desperate or is the opposite – willing to sit and wait a long time for a sale nobody lists their house now.
Wow, M4L. Interesting numbers. And AMAZING you remember that. You’re not even looking in BS — or are you?
isn’t Capri Jet an Italian airline?
Mopar, that stuy house came on mkt at 1.2M. when it went into contract last on Corco, ask was 975k. the one next to was asking 795k and think it sold for 500k
FWIW, go on Street Easy and search Brooklyn listed less than 30 days ago with Open Houses before 4 days from now. You won’t find a single townhouse or single family, other than the one I just listed.
Slim pickings indeed.
I think it was just yesterday or the day before Minard Lafeve was saying if one the 75 Henry TH ever came up…
HERE YOU GO – WENT ON THE MARKET YESTERDAY, OPEN HOUSE SUNDAY BY APPT

Granted, they are ugly as hell…but maintenance free living, 3 story 3 bdrm 2.5 bth for 1.1M…not bad if you ask me. This things NEVER come up for sale, and this one won’t last.
why is it called the “marketplace” in someplaces, and “listings” in others?
c’mon people. best practices.
M4L, do you remember what the ask was? I think it was over a million. $1.2, 1.3, 1.4? But the rumor on the street was they’d take $700,000. Unless the source was mixing it up with the house next door, which was also for sale.
Mopar, that Stuy house when listed with Corco did go into contract but guess it hit snag on way to close
