LOL, Pete. When I bought the P-Town place and moved back from Hong Kong I actually considered it. Then I thought about getting up at 5:00 in the morning to bake muffins for whiney guests and heard some of the horror stories about them.
that would be my idea of hell….running a b&b.
what could be so appealing about it?
the south midwood house sold for 1.395M in 2007 the owners moved to the midwest to open a b&b. now it’s selling for less. hummm….
sunset park looks like it’s being used as a dorm or snooki and her co-horts have been house sitting.
House is on a double lot, I see – still not worth the ask in South Midwood.
South Midwood neighborhood is second rate Victorian Flatbush. Exterior has zero curb appeal – fencing is unattractive, odd, box-like porch enclosure. Inside seems cared for and nice wood work. Pool a plus or a minus. Must take up entire yard. House is way overpriced for this market in this neighborhood. Victorian Flatbush yes, but sort of an island unto itself due to location on other side of Ocean Avenue.
The in-ground pool would be a minus for most people (safety, insurance, maintenance).
And yes, the fish would eat the larvae.
