THL, bless your heart. You promised to wait to unleash one of these beauties and my Friday afternoon has slowed down enough to make this the perfect time. Where do we start on this Brighton Beach beauty? I feel dirty just looking at that jacuzzi!
That would be East 24th Street house. Even further away from the train.
I think the Maple Street house still has some detail; it’s just hidden behind a lot of stuff. Once it’s empty it will look better. It still needs updating, so for inspiration look at 208 Midwood, which has been renovated with great taste. These two houses are basically the same, one just has a modern reno (and a higher price tag as a result).
THL…The pool area needs more statuary. However, I’m loving that dock.
The mirrors need no additional commentary. Bada Bing.
Don’t laugh at those mirrors! They have them in very prestigious homes you know…

Thought we could use a laugh given the economy!!
Yeah DOW..and if we had a Bed Stuy listing there’d be 50 posts by now!!!
BRG- I’m loving the CH house. Good bones, blank slate. You could do a lot with that. Can’t speak to the neighborhood but the home I just love.
CH..needs a little bit of work, if the mechanicals are up to date, and it’s only cosmetic, it might be worth it.
In the photos, underneath all the dust, I spy in-laid wood borders…YUMMY!
I love the colored glass above the front door.
I’d move the mirrors to the master bedroom ceiling, to bring a little dyker glitz into my life.
Damn, no F.Greene or C.Hill listings.
