bayridgegirl, thanks for the warning on that carpet. It reminds me of something one would find in the honeymoon suite at a Niagara Falls motel. If the buyers don’t don hazmat suits and rip it out, I would advise a major steam cleaning!
Hey, the PLG realtor took the effort to write MINT in all caps and to use not one but two exclamation marks. That should assure you of the house’s value.
Yuck. Three totally unappealing properties (WT, PLG, Beverly) and one that looks to be seriously overpriced (PS). Even without the comment above, I could see that the Beverly place is a heap. Also contrast this WT place with the one that sold for 1.5 in yesterday’s posts. NFW, as they say, unless you’re a woodworker looking for a new shop.
One question about the PS house, though. I assume the kitchen in the photos is on the parlor floor, but where would the real “parlor” be? There’s a dining room and hall on the floor plan. It’s exactly why people bump out the back for a kitchen addition.
And those little pocket bedrooms on the top floor are only good for WIC’s or stashing unwanted guests. I like PS limestones as much as anyone, but somebody’s reaching a bit.
agreed, traditionalmod. she could at least have posted some dark, blurry photos of the inside!
That might be the most minimal effort ever in the history of the world on the part of a RE broker, on the PLG house. It’s awful. Where did these homeowners find these people? A postcard stuck in the door?
favorite picture is of the bedroom at Windsor Place. The carpet….I like it in a sleazy kind of way
$1.5 million appreciation?
1st Street house last traded for $2,270,000 in 2006. It was originally a 1-family.
Rugby is directly across the street from PS139.
That’s a dealbreaker.
