Banners have gone up on the new apartment building on 3rd Avenue between 7th and 8th streets that we’ve been tracking for a couple years announcing that it’s now to be known as 433 Third. Some pics of the interiors from the website above; a call to Ideal Properties, which is repping the building, informs that they’re shooting for April move-ins and rents are provisionally set in the $1,600- to $3,650-a-month range.

“I couldn’t imagine eating dinner anywhere else but at a table. No, I wouldn’t want to eat at a desk….”
funny – my mom says the same thing.
anywhere else in the country this would be an institution for the criminally insane. Amazing how low the bar is in NYC for residential buildings.
Well, everyone that I know of has a table and four chairs.
I couldn’t imagine eating dinner anywhere else but at a table. No, I wouldn’t want to eat at a desk….
No, I do not want to eat dinner on the couch.
I want my family to sit together and eat together, not all over the apartment….
Maybe when you are in your 20’s it’s cute to eat wherever, but not when your in your late… well whatever…
The renters in my building have tables and chairs as they are families…duh !!
I guess people really do live very different……
watched this building grow and was waiting patiently for them to “finish” the exterior (that’s pretty much what it’s always looked like), never thinking for a second that it WAS the exterior. Looks unfinished.
fyi that new liquor store on 4th avenue is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO beyond overpriced it’s not even funny.
*rob*
I have not had a table in the 8 months I have lived here.
I eat at a desk in our living room, my wife eats on the sofa, and my son eats at the bar.
I might end up buying an Ikea table that folds down smaller for when guests come over.
“probably none. most of my meals are consumed on my couch.”
Same.
probably none. most of my meals are consumed on my couch.
I have a table for four in my kitchen that I use maybe 2 times per year. Wasted space for me.
