Another sale that was just covered on Brownstoner. We thought this one missed the Biggest Sales list but the deed was just recorded last week. The four-story, three-family house had been listed for $2M since July 2010. Entered into contract on 9/17/2010; closed on 1/11/2011; deed recorded on 1/24/11.

5. MIDWOOD $1,600,000
971 East 8th Street GMAP
This two-family house is 2,448 square feet. Entered into contract on 10/25/2010; closed on 1/18/11; deed recorded on 1/24/11.
