The beautiful old brick power plant building at 153 Second St. in Gowanus, known as the Bat Cave, has a new message for the holiday season. More than a year after its anti-Wall Street graffiti was removed, some athletic and artistic pundits replaced it with a wrap around message that reads, Open your eye girl, stop shopping. Is this advice for the cash strapped, and why is it only for girl(s)? Too bad this Boymelgreen-owned beauty can’t be put to better use. It’s still for sale, at a make me an offer price. Nice building. GMAP

Why just one Eye & Girl? Could it be directed to a specific individual or is there a hidden meaning that we are missing.
but it’s advice most likely coming from people whose parents are paying off their credit cards :-/

Considering all the credit card debt the average American is carrying, this is some solid financial advice.
Real men don’t shop!!
so do gay men. except me. i prefer free stuff lol. however if i COULD afford to shop, i would, except i wouldnt do it myself, id have a personal shopper who does it for me. the act of shopping is pretty horrific, but when you actually get stuff it’s nice!

Women always shop too much.
oh yeah. let’s all stop shopping. that would be WONDERFUL for the economy. total idiots.
