It’s been a busy few weeks for 163 Washington: we noticed the construction fence came down, Curbed picked up on some online listings that had popped up, and then we got to take a look inside of Clinton Hill’s tallest condo building. It was pointed out that since the building got out of the 2007 downzoning, these views would never been blocked. And despite its towering presence, the views are pretty outstanding. (Every unit has a balcony – some have two – and all feature floor-to-ceiling windows.) The units are decently sized, and the penthouse-in-progress looks pretty sweet. Studios start at $250,000, one bedrooms at $370,000, and two beds at $553,000. Sales officially start this week. There’s also 1,176 square feet of unoccupied retail space.

  1. Overpriced. Too bad the PTAC a/c units steal so much floor space. Still, the building on its own merits is attractive — or would be, if it were anywhere near a useful subway. Hope they have bike storage, because everyone will want to bike to the subway when they get tired of the slog.

  2. Murdah Ave, DCB. What’s the difference? Worse, 4 long ass blocks to G Train versus more popular C. Even worse, competition, somewhat, from ahead of the curve Grand Ave/Park-gone-rental (see thread above).

    Whassup, DIBS!
