House of the Day: 76 Dikeman Street

This Red Hook one family at 76 Dikeman Street was probably pretty simple to start with and has had some unfortunate alterations over the years, such as baseboard heating and new doors. At least the original facade looks fairly intact, so it might not be too hard to restore the exterior. There is also a separate two-story studio in the back. It’s fairly close to the river, so flooding could be an issue. What do you think of it and the $1,625,000 ask?
