The 28-foot-wide house is still just as gorgeous, the market is stronger and, at $8.15 million, the price is slightly more within reach. Think they’ll get close?

As amazing as it is, it’s 6800sf, thus making the price well over $1000 psf.
Seems like it should be more like 5 or 6 million, but who knows…it does look special on the inside.
Judging from the old photos, the house used to be green-ish with a wood door. I much prefer the new color of the facade, but that white door looks kinda tacky.
The $350,000 price difference means absolutely nothing to someone willing to plunk down $8.15MM or $8.5MM.
Yes, 11217, the door is ugly, to say the least. It needs a nice Fine paints of Europe gloss job!!!!!!!!!!
I agree about the door. I dark wood door would go much better with this place but the rest of it overshadows that minor problem.
may be they get 4.5-5mm – looks ok but if i had 8mm to spend i would not do it on this. the ppw mansion was much much much more grand.
