There’s a lot love about this listing at 411 Stuyvesant Avenue in Stuyvesant Heights. The four-family limestone house was on the market for several months last year at an asking price of $1,200,000 before being yanked last fall. It’s recently re-emerged at the new and improved (from the buyer’s perspective) price of $975,000. What do you make of it?

  1. The Streetview for this place is on the sidestreeet, Chauncey. maneuver it to Stuyvesant Ave and go up, to the right, from the listing here…or, further down Chaunceyt, across Stuyvesant to see all of Fulton park.

    It’s very dog friendly too.

  2. It is Pigeon.

Fulton park is across the street. It’s a rather small park about the size of a half block (one block long and 100′ deep) but lots of trees and grass and benches.

Stuyvesant Heights starts here with the houses on this block and goes up Stuyvesant about 5-6 blocks…one blck east and a few blocks west, more or less.

Look at the Streetview for this place and the park across the street and then “ride it” up Stuyvesant ave.

At the height, 2 limestones on the next block up went for $1.1MM and 1.3MM

  3. It is a beautiful exterior and regarding kitchens and chopped up apartment, no problem. That is fixable. The house is too expensive for that location, but very nice I think. (Appropos of nothing, love cream and black marble floors.)
